The key objective of this study is to contribute to better understanding of the comparability of qualifications from initial vocational education and training (IVET), assigned to levels 3 and 4 of the European qualifications framework (EQF) through the respective national qualifications frameworks (NQFs).
It will map the qualifications linked to the EQF levels 3 and 4, collect and analyse evidence on how learning outcomes approaches have been used for assigning initial vocational qualifications to NQF/EQF levels. The analysis will not only focus on technical evidence, but also take into account broader social and economic contexts in which qualifications are embedded.
The project is coordinated by 3s and carried out in cooperation with Ockham IPS (NL) and IBE (PL) as well as national experts from various countries.
