In 2017, the Vienna Employment Promotion Fund (‘Wiener ArbeitnehmerInnen Förderungsfonds’) is coordinating the third edition of the ‘Vienna Weeks’, a large scale outreach activity organised by a broad network of organisations from the fields of education, adult education, employment policy, youth work, migration policy, and many others.

In the context of the development process for a “National Strategy on the social dimension in higher education – for a more inclusive access and broader participation” 3s collected  measures contributing to the social dimension in higher education in Austria via a survey.

The purpose of this project (coordinated by ICF, Belgium) is to enable the European Commission to fulfil its tasks of supporting national authorities and VET stakeholders to promote and apply the ECVET principles and tools, coordinating the governance and cooperation process, developing ECVET in coordination with other instruments that support flexible learning and career pathways.

The HCEU project will develop a competence matrix (VQTS-method) for health care professionals in ‚elderly care‘ and ‚nursing‘ . It will also create tools and instruments for facilitating validation processes of foreign elderly care and nursing professionals within the project membership countries Germany, Austria, Poland, Hungary and Greece in order to foster mobility.
