Internationalising Vocational Excellence (IntVE) project

Organiser: European Training Foundation (ETF)

The European Training Foundation (ETF) as part of the EU funded Internationalising Vocational Excellence (IntVE) project hosts two webinars on vocational excellence. These sessions offer an inspiring look at vocational education and training (VET) centres advancing through innovative public-private partnerships.

More details:

Dates: November 13 and November 25, 10:00–11:30 CET (via Teams)

- The webinar on Wednesday 13 November will focus on strengthening private sector partnerships for more impactful training that meet labour market and societal needs.

- The webinar on Monday 25 November will focus on how to leverage innovation and socio-economic development by building effective skills ecosystems

In each session, a leading VET centre will share its mission, successes, and challenges, offering firsthand insights into achieving excellence through collaboration. Your voice matters too! We invite you to join the discussion, share your experiences, and help shape the future of vocational training.

Register here, and share a few insights on your experience with vocational excellence in the form. Your feedback will help us tailor the sessions to meet your goals.

Learning Across Continents: Conversations in a divided world

Topics:

  • How do we understand the role of VET in preparing young people for work when labour markets and workplaces are in flux nationally and internationally?
  • Is this changing the nature of VET and VET curricula? Is it raising new questions on work, labour markets and education? What is core to VET that is stable across different contexts?
  • Are systems looking more similar or more different from each other?
  • What are the main factors—such as workplace organisation, changing labour markets, changing enrolment in schools and universities, and the nature of economies that are influencing different aspects of VET provision—such as curriculum, governance, partnerships, enrollment patterns—in different countries?
  • How do we connect better as researchers, and use VET research to build connection?
