Learning more about micro-credentials
As the main focus of the event, participants got in-depth information on the features of the 2022 Council Recommendation regarding a European approach to micro-credentials. Micro-credentials document the learning outcomes that a learner has acquired following a small volume of learning. Further input included presentations on the Irish example of using micro-credentials within the further education and training sector, the interim findings of an ongoing Cedefop project related to micro-credentials and on approaches to micro-credentials in Sweden, Estonia and Spain.
