Take Part in a European Online-Survey on Microcredentials

3s invites you, on behalf of Cedefop, to participate in a survey aimed at collecting expert input on existing microcredentials.

The Cedefop study on Microcredentials for labour market education and training (ed by Ockham IPS with 3s as partner) seeks to enhance the under­stan­ding of the evolving landscape of (micro)credentials outside formal education and training systems in the EU Member States and clarify the con­di­ti­ons and the most crucial elements for making learning for employment visible. Therefore, we focus on micro­creden­ti­als in all their shapes and forms, also when they are not called as such (alter­na­ti­ve names are: ‘digital or open badges’, ‘partial qua­li­fi­ca­ti­ons’, ‘micro- or nano-qua­li­fi­ca­ti­ons’, ‘module cer­ti­fi­ca­tes’ or other).

Based on expert input we seek to build an inventory of how micro­creden­ti­als are struc­tu­red, delivered, and reco­g­nis­ed. Overall, our study aims to under­stand how emerging, demand driven micro­creden­ti­als can raise equal oppor­tu­ni­ties to access learning and generate pathways to employment. Capturing your voice is vitally important here.
