We will present recent initia­ti­ves by the European Commission, data from ‘Education at a Glance 2023’ and insights from the ‘Building Future-Ready Vocational and Training Systems’ to explore the critical dimen­si­ons of respon­si­ve and inclusive VET systems. The dis­cus­sion will delve into the key questions that poli­cy­ma­kers and VET stake­hol­ders must ponder when re-engi­nee­ring VET to align with the dynamic demands of the future workforce. We will explore stra­te­gies for keeping the content of VET pro­gram­mes up to date and for addres­sing the surging demand among adults for lifelong ups­kil­ling and reskilling.
