    Filmabend zur Pflegeausbildung

    Unter der Headline "Pflegenotstand im Scheinwerferlicht" untersucht die Veranstaltung die Rolle des Films in der Berufsausbildung und als Mittel zur Thematisierung und Bekämpfung des Pflege-(personal-)notstands.

    Pfleger*innen stehen nicht erst seit der Corona-Pandemie unter Druck und kämpfen vie­ler­orts für bessere Arbeitsbedingungen. Österreich steht vor einem Pflege(personal-)notstand. Wie motiviert man in dieser Situation dennoch für einen Pflegeberuf? Das Screening bildet den Auftakt zu einem Workshop tags darauf und einer Veranstaltungsreihe zum Thema “Beruf, Arbeit und Bildung im Film”. Die Veranstaltung beginnt am Do, 10. November 2022, um 18.00 Uhr im Arthousekino der mdw mit einer Reihe histo­ri­scher Lehr- und Berufsinformationsfilme. In Anschluss daran spricht Konrad Wakolbinger mit Axel Stummer, Regisseur von Berufsinformationsfilmen und Absolvent der Filmakademie, über seinen Film „Beruf helfen“. Der Hauptfilm „Zu jeder Zeit“ (De chaque instant, FR 2018) von Nicolas Philibert beginnt um 20 Uhr. Organisator des Filmscreenings ist Jörg Markowitsch.

    Topics:

    • How do we understand the role of VET in preparing young people for work when labour markets and workplaces are in flux nationally and internationally?
    • Is this changing the nature of VET and VET curricula? Is it raising new questions on work, labour markets and education? What is core to VET that is stable across different contexts?
    • Are systems looking more similar or more different from each other?
    • What are the main factors—such as workplace organisation, changing labour markets, changing enrolment in schools and universities, and the nature of economies that are influencing different aspects of VET provision—such as curriculum, governance, partnerships, enrollment patterns—in different countries?
    • How do we connect better as researchers, and use VET research to build connection?

    • Notification of acceptance: 15 December 2026
    • Submission of full paper: 20 February 2027
    • Feedback to your paper: 31 March 2027. You will then have 10 days to make the necessaries changes.
