EXPECT – Sustainable vocational education and training in Finland

Recently, the fifth peer learning activity of the Erasmus+ project EXPECT took place in Helsinki.

From 13 to 14 June 2022, the EXPECT project partners met at the largest vocational school in Finland, StadinAO, which hosts 22,000 students. Each peer learning activity aims to collect examples of good practice in sustainable VET in seven European countries (NL, AT, IT, LT, ES, FL, UK). The  EXPECT newsletter (see below) includes information on the City of Helsinki’s sustainability strategy, which includes 23 educational activities, Finland’s zero emissions targets, the Finnish education and training system, which is extremely open and accessible to everyone as a key element of lifelong learning, and sustainable activities of Finnish students and companies.
