Online Workshop Explores Next Steps for Individual Learning Accounts in Europe
On May 21–22, 2025, the Mutual Learning Support (MLS) Team hosted the third and final workshop in its series dedicated to advancing Individual Learning Accounts (ILAs) across EU Member States. This online event focused on key aspects of ILA implementation, including governance models, awareness-raising strategies, outreach, and mechanisms to ensure quality and sustainability.
Chaired by DG EMPL representatives, the workshop brought together national working groups from twelve countries—Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, France, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Romania, and Slovakia. The event served as a platform for exchanging good practices and lessons learned to help build stronger, more resilient ILA systems that support lifelong learning and skills development.
Mariya Dzhengozova participated as moderator, rapporteur, and national expert for Bulgaria, contributing to discussions on improving the design and delivery of ILAs across diverse national contexts.
