VET5.0 — Vocational Education for Industry 5.0

VET5.0 — Transforming Vocational Education Through Advancing Learner-Centricity, Education 5.0, and Lifelong Learning for Industry 4.0/5.0 in Rural Regions aims to make voca­tio­nal education and training more learner-centred, flexible and respon­si­ve to the needs of Industry 4.0 and Industry 5.0. VET5.0 develops inno­va­ti­ve learning approa­ches using adaptive learning, micro-cre­den­ti­als and tech­no­lo­gies such as arti­fi­ci­al intel­li­gence, immersive learning and gami­fi­ca­ti­on. It also supports educators in applying Education 5.0 methods and streng­thens coope­ra­ti­on between VET providers, industry, SMEs, public aut­ho­ri­ties and policymakers.

VET5.0 will establish an Excellence Academy con­nec­ting six regional Centres of Vocational Excellence in Austria, Croatia, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia, sup­port­ing digital and green manu­fac­tu­ring skills and lifelong learning.

3s is the core partner in charge of coor­di­na­ting quality manage­ment processes within the project. This includes the imple­men­ta­ti­on of EQAVET-based peer reviews and self-assess­ment processes using the European Training Foundation’s ISATCOVE self-assess­ment tool for centres of voca­tio­nal excel­lence. Furthermore, 3s leads the task of designing a model for the deve­lo­p­ment and imple­men­ta­ti­on of micro-credentials.
