Towards zero long-term unemployment
Long-term unemployment remains a persistent challenge in the European Union underlining the need for new innovative approaches. With that in mind, the ESF+ Social Innovation+ Initiative will focus on territorial measures that address long-term unemployment, with a budget of EUR 23 million allocated in 2024, the European Commission aims to support the testing, transfer, and scaling up of innovative solutions to tackle this challenge.
The Community of Practice on Employment, Education and Skills invites to a webinar presenting the recently published study Towards zero long-term unemployment in the EU: Job guarantees and other innovative approaches which was co-authored by Jörg Markowitsch (3s) and Ágota Scharle (Budapest Institute for Policy Analysis) supported by 3s-colleagues Julia Fellinger and Tessa Pittrof. Selected initiatives from Austria, Belgium, France, Germany and the Netherlands will be highlighted and discussed among the invited stakeholders from all over Europe.
