Apprenticeship in India: Country Strategy

The MSDE and the ILO are jointly organizing an Innovation Bootcamp on ‘APPRENTICESHIP IN INDIA: COUNTRY STRATEGY’ to discuss the strategy for Apprenticeship in the country in light of the ADULT research process and optimize system development alignment to the main national strategic documents and on-going processes. The event will allow experts from government, industry and social partners structures to discuss and craft a way forward for apprenticeship system development in South Africa.
The Innovation Bootcamp will also bring together a team of global and national experts to consider the findings of the ADULT global research and their relevance in the context of India. The event will reflect on the key findings and recommendations that have emerged from the foregoing global research on Apprenticeship and Life-long learning under the Global component of ADULT project, especially those which can lead to the optimization of the apprenticeship system development process in India.
Jörg Markowitsch will give a presentation on „Adapting apprenticeships for reskilling and upskilling of adults, findings from an ILO research project” on day 2 of the event.
