Promoting the green trans­for­ma­ti­on in European VET

Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) aim to focus the knowledge, resources and infras­truc­tu­re of key stake­hol­ders on the deve­lo­p­ment of skills eco­sy­stems and thus con­tri­bu­te to regional deve­lo­p­ment. The aim is to promote envi­ron­men­tal, social and economic deve­lo­p­ment in Europe through green and sus­tainable inno­va­ti­on processes. With the par­ti­ci­pa­ti­on of 3s, such centres will be estab­lished in four European regions.

Among other things, the project will train more than 100 teachers and carry out 16 regional and two inter­na­tio­nal projects with companies. Vocational school students are also involved, for example by par­ti­ci­pa­ting in regional and inter­na­tio­nal com­pe­ti­ti­ons in “GreenInno-Excellence”, which serve to promote their com­pe­ten­ces. In addition to the deve­lo­p­ment of the CoVEs and their regional networks and the deve­lo­p­ment of a platform for intraregional/international coope­ra­ti­on, ensuring the sus­taina­bi­li­ty of the edu­ca­tio­nal insti­tu­ti­ons them­sel­ves is also a priority.

The con­sor­ti­um, coor­di­na­ted by FH Joanneum Graz, consists of a total of 30 partner orga­ni­sa­ti­ons from Austria, Finland, Portugal and North Macedonia.
