Promoting the green transformation in European VET
Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) aim to focus the knowledge, resources and infrastructure of key stakeholders on the development of skills ecosystems and thus contribute to regional development. The aim is to promote environmental, social and economic development in Europe through green and sustainable innovation processes. With the participation of 3s, such centres will be established in four European regions.
Among other things, the project will train more than 100 teachers and carry out 16 regional and two international projects with companies. Vocational school students are also involved, for example by participating in regional and international competitions in “GreenInno-Excellence”, which serve to promote their competences. In addition to the development of the CoVEs and their regional networks and the development of a platform for intraregional/international cooperation, ensuring the sustainability of the educational institutions themselves is also a priority.
The consortium, coordinated by FH Joanneum Graz, consists of a total of 30 partner organisations from Austria, Finland, Portugal and North Macedonia.
