#GetInvolved project got honored

Our Erasmus+ project to promote democracy and civic engagement in vocational education and training, which was completed in 2023, was recognised as good practice.

The National Agencies for Erasmus+ award a Good Practice label to particularly successful projects. In 2023, this included our #GetInvolved project, which was recognised by the German national agency (NABIBB). Against the backdrop of increasing anti-democratic tendencies, the project set itself the goal of strengthening young people’s awareness of democracy in vocational education and training and highlighting opportunities of participation and engagement. To this end, various activities were carried out and numerous materials developed, from a train-the-trainer workshop, a handbook for school competitions and a self-monitoring tool to a concept for a label for organisations that are particularly committed to democratic skills and civic engagement. The latter is also the starting point for possible follow-up activities.
