The Future of Professional Driving
The study was based on another already existing professional driving profile that was done during the „ProfDRV“ project. Furthermore, learning outcomes were developed concerning future competence needs that will be supported by innovative digital learning solutions.
Research results gathered during the project lead to recommendations and a road map on future changes in order to support professional drivers on their professional career to the digital world of work.
The project consortium created:
_‘FutureDRV-PROFILE’ for the future role of professional drivers and the competence requirements within the 4th industrial revolution;
_‘FutureDRV Learning Solutions’ in order to tackle the changing/growing need for new qualifications;
_‘FutureDRV recommendations’ with proposals for different stakeholders (e.g.employers/VET providers) on how to better handle future challenges;
_a ‘FutureDRV Timeline’ for visualising new trends/developments and related qualification requirements on a time axis presenting possible measure that can be taken by different stakeholders.
The FutureDRV project was coordinated by DEKRA Akademie, (DE). Further project partners were 3s research laboratory (Tanja Bacher, Sabine Schwenk, AT), AFT (FR), Transformation (UK) Dekra Akademie (HU), and StageIT (SE).
