Supporting digitalisation at school

The digitalisation of the world of work is advancing and job profiles are adapting. Schools are faced with the challenge of teaching young people digital skills as early as possible and arousing their interest in technical professions, the latter being especially true for girls. The Interreg project DigiMe aims to support these processes. Educators receive the necessary tools in a workshop package to teach their students the required digital skills and programming knowledge. An e‑learning platform with worksheets and video tutorials facilitates lesson preparation. The cross-border exchange of pupils and teachers through excursions and job shadowing as well as school partnerships enables long-term cooperation between schools in Austria and Czechia in the field of digital education.
3s has been commissioned by the European Office of the Board of Education for Vienna to carry out an evaluation, the aim of which is to analyse whether the project objectives have been achieved and to derive recommendations for the further development of the project. The evaluation is being carried out in collaboration with M&E Factory Monitoring und Evaluierung GmbH.
