The aim of SALTO Resource Centres (Support and Advanced Learning and Training Opportunities) is to improve the quality and impact of the Erasmus+ Programme at a systemic level through providing expertise, resources, information and training activities in specific areas for Erasmus+ National Agencies and other actors involved in education, training and youth work. In 2022, a new SALTO Resource Centre for promoting inclusion and diversity in Erasmus+ was established.
The main task in the first research assignment (2022/23) is to shed light on National Agencies’ practices in dealing with inclusion and diversity in implementing the Erasmus+ programme and on the challenges they face. The study thus provides important insights on National Agencies’ needs and interest in cooperation on the topic, as well as their expectations for possible future support services by the SALTO Resource Centre for inclusion and diversity.
Data is collected through an online survey among Erasmus+ National Agencies, complemented by online focus groups and qualitative interviews. 3s is commissioned to carry out this research by the Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes (AMEUP), which has been appointed as SALTO Resource Centre for Inclusion and Diversity (Education and Training).

The cooperation was continued in 2024 with a study on the Erasmus+ beneficiaries’ view on inclusion and diversity. You can get further insights into this study here.
