More on the future of vocational education and training in Europe – volume 2 published
Based on a Europe-wide survey of VET providers and in-depth national case studies, the report provides an up-to-date stocktaking and insight into the ever-changing VET landscape. While a combination of incremental change and radical reform has transformed initial VET, the sector overall has retained a clear identity. Common trends over time can be identified in the broadening of IVET curricula, the importance given to work-based learning and the growing importance of autonomy at local and regional level.
