In response to the strong interest of education researchers both in European Union countries and internationally, Cedefop is organising its 3rd International Workshop on Curriculum Innovation and Reform: Changing Assessment to Improve Learning Outcomes in 26-27 April 2012 in Thessaloniki, Greece. 

In January 2012, the Austrian National Agency for Lifelong Learning set up an ECVET contact point. At the same time, a team of seven national ECVET experts has been appointed - Karin Luomi-Messerer being one of them!

In preparation of the EQF and the individual NQFs, numerous projects – such as the 3s-coordinated VQTS project – are using the learning outcomes approach, testing methods and disseminating best practice to facilitate and prepare the implementation of the common reference framework...

More than one year after they started, the 2nd generation of ECVET pilot projects will meet on 26-27 April in Rome. The main theme to be discussed will be the assessment of learning outcomes.
